Day 01: Dharamsala-1600M:- Dharamsala is evocatine of imperial days in places like Mecleodganj & Forsythganj, headquarters of Kangra district, it became a capital in 1852 anf is 153 years old.
The high altitude, cool and favourable weather have contributed to wards the creation of a local community and Tibetian environment. Situated amidst beautiful srroundings, the vast slopes have been developed with flowers bess, shurbs and underground electruc lightinng; all along are store walks, elegant wooden benches and covered decorated shelters. Dharamsala¡¦s altitude varies between 1250 metres and 2000 metres. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02- Dharamsala-Mecleodganj- Triund:- 9km.trek and 2925 metres hieh:- It is beautiful walk through mixed forest. It is situated on the ridge and have a beautiful view of Kangra Valley on the one side and another side facinating Dhauladhar Mountain. Overnight camp.
Day 03- Tirund-IlakaGlacier- Tirund(5km. One way,3300m.):- Trek along glacial morains. Ilaka is situated at the snout of a small galcier. This is the base camp for shaphards and the trekkers to cross the mountain pass(4350M). Overnight camp.
Day 04- Tirund-Ball River (Eco & Culturaled rich vill, 9km,2000M.):- This trek is through dence forest of oaks, ghododendrons. We¡¦ll camp near hand tilled fields and samll, friendly village. Overnight camp.
Day 05- Ball camp- Naddi vill.(3km. Walk) the do cycling to Norbulinga, Karmap Plalace, Shar Chmunda Temple, Gopalpur Zoo and Palampur-50km. Overnight camp at Palampur.
Day 06- Palampur- Billing via Andretta- Baijnath Shiva Temple, Sarblinga Monastry, Bir colony 52km. Overnight camp at Billing.
Day 07- Billing-Joginder Nagar- Jhatingri-Barot, 54km.:- overnight camp.
Day 08- Fishing day. Overnight camp.
Day 09- Barot- Palampur,88km. Overnight camp.
Day 10- Palampur ¡V Pathankot by Toy Train of the Kangra Valley. |
