Day 01 Delhi / Jammu / Katra
Meet upon arrival at Jammu destination, you will be pickup and transfer to Katra check in at the hotel you booked. Afternoon trek to holy Shrine – 13.5 kms for Darshan at Vaishno Devi Ji. Evening return to your reserved hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 Katra / Pahalgam
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam destination (Valley of Shepherds) enroute visiting Patnitop. Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 300 kms will be covered in about 8 -9 hrs. On arrival in Pahalgam check in at your reserved hotel. One can enjoy a pony ride through thick pine forest. Evening Return to your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 03 Pahalgam
Local Sightseeing Tour.Trip to Aru or Chanderwari on your own Lunch, dinner and overnight at your booked hotel.
Day 04 Pahalgam / Gulmarg Destination
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 155 kms will be covered in about 3 ½ hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The View enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy a cable car ride which takes to the highest point.On arrival check in at your reserved hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 05 Gulmarg / Srinagar /Shikara Ride
Morning Local sightseeing tour to Gulmarg, afternoon drive to Srinagar and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat/ Hotel late afternoon join a Shikara ride in the Dal Lake, visit floating gardens on Dal Lake, dinner and overnight at your reserved hotel/houseboat.
Day 06 Srinagar / Sonamarg
Full day excursion to Sonamarg by Jeep. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Drive back from Sonamarg and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat/Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07 Srinagar / Mughal Garden & City
After early breakfast, join a sightseeing trip to Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory and drive to hotel/houseboat for dinner and overnight.
Day 08
Srinagar / Airport
After early breakfast drive to Srinagar airport on time to catch onward flight.Journey Ends with Sweet Memories |
